Black and White

Lately, I have been getting asked often for black and white themed weddings. These are such beautiful and bold colors, but there isn't a lot of inspiration out there using these colors. Wedding planning at Stephanie Grace Designs starts out with honing in on all the inspirations you can find to really start the process of design. We thought we would put a little black and white inspiration board together to share with everyone. There are so many ways to design in black and white...you can do preppy with white hydrangeas and black and white striped ribbons, you can go uber glam and do a black tie affair with chandeliers dripping in crystals, white orchids everyone, etc. Another great idea is to really bring in complimentary colors to the event such as silvers, platinum, charcoals, different shades of white, etc. Events can achieve a whole new tactile experience by bringing in different textures as well. So instead of a basic satin linen, one can opt for a textured pintuck, or bring in textured pillows to the lounge furniture to add dimension and reduce starkness. These are just a few suggestions to enhance an already beautiful color scheme.
