Wedding Hair | Braids

Attention bride-to-be's! We have been seeing beautiful new ways to dress up the traditional wedding hairstyles. Introducing... modern adaptations of the classic braid. We love how braids add an air of romance and make just about everybody look good. Everything from the traditional braid to the fishtail braid give your hair the perfect texture to make a statement on your special day.

For brides who want to leave their hair down, we found these lovely alternatives.

Completely in love with this.

And of course, celebrities always do it best.

Whether you leave your hair up or down, braids are perfect for spicing up those traditional wedding hairstyles. Happy wedding planning! :)

Fabulous Wedding Alternatives

Jenny Yoo makes the most glamorous wedding dress alternatives (hardly the right way to describe them). Their dresses are so affordable, mostly between the $700-800 range, with a few about $1000. They are simple, stunning and amazingly chic.  If you are looking to save a little bit of money, this is definitely such a sophisticated line of dresses-you can't go wrong. Check them out at www.jennyyoo.com

New Years Parties!

A fabulous New Years Eve soiree deserves a fabulous dress. If you are getting married, try this stunning Vera Wang. If you are just throwing a party, try this uber cool red Marchesa gown. New Year's Eve is the one time a year you can live a little bit more extravagantly!

A fabulous twist on the traditional champagne tower. A novel idea is instead of the same old "wine tasting", why not try a "champagne tasting". There are many different regions where the bubbly comes from, and it is so fun to try the different styles and tastes.

Take the cue from time itself, and adorn your ceilings by hanging clocks, or place different sized clocks all over your house, intermixed with candles, to create the New Year atmosphere.
These cute champagne flutes are made just by buying some adhesive numbers from your local craft store and adhering them to your typical glass flute.
Add some festivity to your party by providing your guests with traditional fun festive garb!
Pictures Courtesy of Martha Stewart (www.marthastewart.com), Plum Party (www.plumparty.com), Brides.com, and Neiman Marcus (www.neimanmarcus.com) as well as an unknown source (champagne).

Most Stunning Shoes Ever

Need I say more....I saw these online at Neiman Marcus (http://www.neimanmarcus.com/) and thought they looked like beautiful spring blossoms. I had very beautiful wedding shoes for my wedding, but I must say, I am very envious of these Christian Louboutin's. This pair is called "petal"...how perfectly fitting.

Fabulous Wedding Purses

Finding the right purse for your wedding is incredibly challenging. There are not a lot of fabulous products on the market in white, so I did some digging! Not all in white, but all these are simply fabulous.

VERSACE
VALENTINO

L. MERKIN

ZAC POSEN

JUDITH LEIBER

JCREW

All these purses range in price and in style, but they all have that fabulous ethereal quality that wedding clutch needs! My favorite is the Judith Leiber Henna Clutch...how stunning and unique.
